Neighbourhood Numbers have the capacity to generate very significant revenues for their potential acquirer. For example, a Neighbourhood Number priced at an average of only $59 per month, with 20% of available areas subscribed, extrapolates to an annual revenue of over $370k.

Unlike traditional businesses, the profit / revenue ratio of a Neighbourhood Number is extraordinarily high. This is due to the fact that all Neighbourhood Numbers are advertised by the providers.

There are a range of additional revenue channels a Neighbourhood Number may exploit, none of which are reflected in the revenue simulator. These additional revenue streams include:

UNSOLD POSTCODES DELIVERED TO A CALL CENTRE
Unsold postcodes being delivered to a call centre and then monetized (significant volume and revenue potential)

DIRECT MOBILE REVENUE
The Mobile Product can be offered as an optional up-sell

SPECIALTY NEIGHBOURHOOD NUMBERS
Revenue from Specialty Neighbourhood Numbers which are multi-channel (e.g. wedding dresses, wedding cars, wedding cakes etc.)

TELCO CALL ACTIVITY
Telco call activity, this may includes a minimum monthly call cap and / or an additional call connection fee for each inbound call

LICENSING BOTH VERSIONS OF THE NUMBER
Licensing both versions of the relevant Neighbourhood Number once the initial version has been exhausted (1800 & 1300 MECHANIC)

IN CALL ADVERTISING
In Call Advertising on either a license or pay per call model (during intro & connection of the call) - Intro example - "Thank you for calling 1300 PLUMBER, proudly sponsored by Reece Plumbing Supplies." and during call connection "Ask about Sunshine Coast Plumbing's satisfaction guarantee"
